About LLC "Raskat"

Since 2002, the company LLC "Raskat" is engaged in the reproduction of sturgeon fishes, processing and marketing of sturgeon products.

The broodstock of sturgeon, beluga and sterlet was formed by domestication of wild producers (caught in the basin of the Caspian Sea).

The fish-farm is located on the river Volga in 50 km from the city of Astrakhan, which provides perfect conditions for keeping fish of sturgeon in the cages of our economy.

Sturgeon fishes feed as a natural live food located in the river and falling into the fish tanks, as well as live fodder purchased from producers of partial fish species and other bioresources. The composition of the water in which the fish is contained is natural, the temperature regimes correspond to natural cycles, which is undoubtedly a big plus for the breeding and sturgeon content of this method. The company RVC "Raskat" more than a fifteen-year period has gained a lot of experience in growing and maintaining sturgeon fishes in the region, research and scientific activities are carried out to improve the quality of sturgeon products, fish resistance, resistance to various negative factors of domesticated fish farming.

All of the above factors allow us to get from our producers about 4000kg of real, classic caviar.

Our broodstock is registered by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and is controled by of Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography (VNIRO). All this makes it possible to sell our products not only in Russia, but also on foreign markets.

Through the activities of LLC RASKAT LLC, the distribution of sturgeons in different regions will minimize the loss of sturgeon for future generations.
